Soda washing soap is a usually hard soap made with sodium hydroxide or sodium carbonate. It is used in washing of kitchen equipments, like cutleries, plates, pots, spoons, etc. People also end up using soda to wash their clothes even in this economic recession. More details after the cut>>>
MATERIALS
500g of caustic soda (Sodium hydroxide) – Depending on the
quantity of soda you want to produce
Palm oil
Water
Tin milk container (milk cup)
Bowl
Stirring stick or rod
Pot or frying pan
Hand gloves
Facemask
SOURCE OF MATERIALS

Before handling these chemicals ensure you put on your face mask and hand gloves

METHOD
Step 1: Dissolve the weighted 500g amount of caustic soda in
2 litres of water in a containing vessel or bowl. Allow to stand and soak for a
day (precisely 24 hours)
Step 2: Take your palm oil and bleach it on fire in your pot
or frying pan
Step 3: Take a cup of your bleached palm oil (about 50 cl
that is half a litre) and the same amount of your dissolved caustic soda
solution earlier, pour into a bowl for mixture, stir immediately until
smoothness is achieved.
Step 4: Finally take some amount of the above mixture in
step 3 and pour into your tin milk container (milk cup), leave to stand for
some hours.
Your washing soda is ready for use or for sales!!!
