Nigeria - Three policemen attacked to Lagos State police command was this morning dismissed for alleged reckless shooting.

Lagos State police spokesman, Chike Oti who broke the news of the dismissal to newsmen urged other policemen to conduct themselves in line with the police creed.

The Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation Americas (NIDOA) has expressed outrage at what it called “the vulgar, insensitive and racist language” about Africans and other immigrants allegedly made by U.S. President Donald Trump.

Trump says US could 'conceivably' rejoin Paris climate pact

President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that the United States could "conceivably" return to the Paris climate accord, although he stopped short of signaling any move in that direction.

"Frankly, it's an agreement that I have no problem with, but I had a problem with the agreement that they signed, because, as usual, they made a bad deal," Trump told a news conference.

Nigeria - A 45-year-old herbalist and native medicine seller, Usman Saidu of Kakumi village in Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State was yesterday, kept behind bars over alleged criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide.

The herbalist had on December 22, 2017, at Gobirawa village in Safana Local Government Area of the state, administered a native medicine that he claimed could repel bullets on one 27-year-old Aliyu Yahuza.

Bricklayer disappears after killing his wife who wanted to travel overseas

Nigeria - The Lagos State Police Command has declared a 34-year-old bricklayer, Akinyemi Edgar, wanted for allegedly killing his wife, Ajoke, in the Mowo, Badagry area of Lagos State.

It was learnt that the suspect beat the 28-year-old to death during a disagreement at their home and dragged her corpse on the ground to a place near the community well, where he buried her.

Nigeria - Mohammed Aminu Atiku, the son of former Vice President Abubakar Atiku, Mohammed Aminu Atiku yesterday in Lagos lost the struggle to have sole custody of his two children born to him by his estranged wife, Unmi Fatima Bolori.

Chief Magistrate Kikelomo Ayeye had earlier granted Aminu Atiku interim custody of the two children.
