A woman ran amok and caused a stir when she undressed at a local graveyard demanding money she was owed by the deceased.

The woman only identified as Wasu (Mai Runga) by mourners at the gathering was ‘uncontrollable’ as she ran around the graveyard stark na_ked.

Donald Trump chides China over report of North Korea oil transfer

US President Donald Trump criticized China on Thursday following reports that Chinese ships transferred oil to North Korean vessels at sea in violation of UN sanctions over the North's nuclear weapons program.

Trump said on Twitter that China had been "Caught RED HANDED," adding he was "very disappointed that China is allowing oil to go into North Korea."

Nigeria - Governor Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State, cabinet ministers and hundreds of Nigerians on Friday joined President Muhammadu Buhari to pray for the quick recovery of his son, Yusuf, who had a bike accident on Tuesday night.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the prayer was led by Chief Imam of Aso Rock Mosque, Abdulwahid Suleiman, after the two-Raka’at Friday prayer.

President Buhari appoints 209 Board Chairmen, members

Nigeria - President Muhammadu Buhari in one fell swoop on Friday appointed 209 board chairmen and 1,258 members of government owned agencies and parastatals, redeeming a part of the pledge he made 31 October at the National Executive Committee meeting of his All Progressives Congress.

More appointments are on the way, said Mr. Boss Mustapha, secretary to the Government of the Federation, who announced the latest massive batch of appointees.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) on Friday said a total of 6,672 Nigerians voluntarily returned from Libya from Jan. 6 to Dec. 28.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Director General of NEMA, Alhaji Mustapha Maihajja, made this known while receiving a fresh batch of 257 Nigerians who arrived from Libya.

Robert Mugabe gets house, cars as retirement package

Zimbabwe’s ousted president Robert Mugabe will get a residence, a car fleet and private air travel as part of a new government-funded retirement package for former leaders, state media reported Thursday.

Mugabe will also be entitled to at least 20 staffers including six personal security guards, all paid for from state coffers, according to details of the benefits published in The Herald newspaper.

Iheanacho reveals how NNPC allegedly caused fuel scarcity in Nigeria

An oil and gas merchant, Capt. Emmanuel Iheanacho, has attributed the persistent scarcity of petrol to monopoly of the product by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

Iheanacho, also the Chairman, Integrated Oil and Gas Ltd., told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Tuesday that the inability of NNPC to create a window for private importers to import petrol also contributed to the scarcity.
