Tragedy as two stowaways fall to their death from US-bound flight

Two stowaways fell to their death Monday from an airplane as it took off from an airport in Guayaquil, Ecuador, on a flight to New York, authorities told local media.

Details of the incident were sketchy, with authorities not saying whether a commercial airline was involved.

Several houses were also reportedly razed in the community located along the Kaduna-Kafanchan expressway, about 31 kilometres from Kaduna, the state capital, before the situation was brought under control by security operatives.

The president who described the road to securing their release as painstaking  and protracted, disclosed that the delay was because the abductors were not only different but based in different locations.
