Nigeria - A German citizen, Mr. Brenard Christo, who slumped on Friday at the General Aviation Terminal of the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, has died at an undisclosed hospital.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board ( JAMB) has announced the extension of registration for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) by two weeks.
The examination body also postponed the UTME exam till 13th and 20th of May.

The Spanish separatist group ETA has handed over weapons to French police as part of its decision to disarm.
The militant group surrendered the locations of eight stores of weapons hidden in the Pyrenees-Atlantiques and Hautes-Pyrenees in southwestern France.

Nigeria - Following its discovery of really large sums of money inside a shopping plaza in Lagos, the EFCC has begun hunting for its owner.
Mr. Sam Amadin, the spokesman of the the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Lagos, has revealed that the commission is trailing the owner of N448.85m discovered in a shopping plaza in Lagos State.

What? Germany deports ISIS suspect to Nigeria
Germany has deported to Nigeria, an alleged Islamic extremist, an ISIS suspect, deemed dangerous by authorities. He is a German citizen, not Nigerian.
The German news agency, dpa, reports that the 22-year-old man who was born in Germany and who hadn’t committed a crime, arrived in Lagos Thursday.

Obasanjo blasts Church leaders: Says they are encouraging corruption in Nigeria
Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, has said that church leaders are part of the people encouraging corruption in Nigeria.
Obasanjo stated this on Saturday, while speaking at the convention of Victory Life Bible Church International in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
He was represented at the event by Femi Olajide, who is the chapel of Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library’s Christ the Glorious King Church.

Nigeria - The scandal involving the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman and a Canadian-based lady, Stephanie Otobo, is getting more attention arresting, after she released a copy of her statement of account.
In a video clip uploaded online, Otobo presented the document, which showed a series of huge deposits made by the cleric into her account.

Russia warns of serious consequences from US strike in Syria
Russia warned on Friday that U.S. cruise missile strikes on a Syrian air base could have "extremely serious" consequences, as President Donald Trump's first major foray into a foreign conflict opened up a rift between Moscow and Washington.
The warships USS Porter and USS Ross in the Mediterranean Sea launched dozens of Tomahawk missiles at the Shayrat air base, which the Pentagon says was involved in a chemical weapons attack this week.
Homemade bomb found in Stockholm terror truck that killed 4 in Sweden
A homemade bomb has been found in the hijacked truck used to kill four people and wound 15 others in Stockholm, according to Sky.
The attacker reportedly "burned" himself while trying and failing to detonate the device in the Swedish capital.

Nigeria - A 36-year-old man, Segun Odihiri, yesterday beheaded his 83-year-old mother, Maria Odihiri, in Uzzeba, Owan West LGA of Edo State.
It was gathered that Segun killed his mother for alerting the public while he was trying to rape his own daughter.
Trouble started when his mother started screaming when she caught Segun in the act.
