Southern Africa hits the news again for the wrong reason, with a Pastor doing a weird thing again.
A pastor who tried replicating the Biblical story of Jesus Christ walking on water has been eaten by crocodiles.
The pastor, identified as Jonathan Mthethwa, of the Saint of the Last Days Church, tried the demonstration at a river known as Crocodile River.
Nigerian Army says new Boko Haram video of Abuja threat a propaganda
Nigerian Army on Saturday said the fresh threat issued by released Boko Haram members in a video clip distributed by the group is just a propaganda and should be ignored.
A statement by Army spokesman Brigadier General Sani Usan said the attention of Nigerian Army has been drawn to the threat by one of the released Boko Haram terrorists in exchange for the abducted Chibok school girls.

Nigeria - The Boko Haram commanders, who were swapped with 82 Chibok girls, have threatened to bomb Abuja in new video obtained by international journalist, Ahmad Salkida.
Salkida, who has close links with the insurgent group, said the video released by the Abubakar Shekau faction, featured one Shuaibu Moni, a Boko Haram commander who was one of those allegedly swapped for the girls.

North Korea now appears to have accepted diplomacy in resolving its face-off with the United States.
A Senior North Korean diplomat said on Saturday that Pyongyang would be willing to hold talks with the United States if the conditions were right.
Head of the Foreign Ministry’s North America Bureau, Choe Son-Hui, told reporters at Beijing International Airport that her country “will hold dialogue under right conditions” with President Donald Trump’s administration.

Presidency fires back at Fani-Kayode: Buhari and Osinbajo will be together beyond 2023
Nigeria - Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, on Friday said the relationship between the President and the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, will remain cordial beyond 2023.
Onochie stated this via updates posted on her Twitter and Facebook pages, in reaction to Femi Fani-Kayode’s remarks criticizing Osinbajo for saying Buhari treats him like a son.

Fassou Antoine Pogba, the father of Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has died according to reports in France.
He was aged 79.

Nigeria - Three suicide bombers were killed early Saturday morning as they attempted to gain access into the Department of Works, University of Maiduguri in Borno State.
The incident occurred at 1.10am, Saturday.
A security guard at the University was also killed by the explosions.

Nigeria - A man suspected to be to be a burglar was electrocuted to death in Lokoja, Kogi State recently.
A video showing the man dead in an awkward position was released online on Friday. The man was caught between an electric barbwire fence and a normal brick wall.
The deceased’s death pose suggested that he was trying to scale the fence. In the 56 seconds video, people were heard in the background debating on whether there were weapons on him or not.
