Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff has announced the postponement of the national convention of the party slated for Port Harcourt.
Sheriff who briefed newsmen, Saturday afternoon, at the Le Meridien Hotel in Port Harcourt said, the party had to succumb to various court orders against the convention.
“We are a responsible party. We have postponed the convention until the court cases are resolved “, he said. He said he still remained the Chairman of the party.
