The Forefront reliably gathered yesterday that a middle-aged female passenger, who was billed to travel to Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on an Etihad Airline flight was, yesterday, found dead inside one of the toilets at the departure hall of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.
It is however unclear the details of the cause of her death as at the time of gathering this tip off just as the identity of the passenger was not disclosed. It was, however, learnt that the woman was on her way to the UAE to seek medical attention.
Spokesman for the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mr. Yakubu Dati, who confirmed the incident to Daily Sun, said some airport workers spotted the corpse of the woman at bout 6:30am.
“The corpse has been deposited at the morgue of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital.
“For now, we cannot say exactly what happened to her,” Dati said.
