The striker is eager to get back on the pitch and show his worth to a club who were willing to gamble on a player widely believed to be in decline.
Radamel Falcao has expressed his gratitude to Chelsea for taking a chance on him after a rocky season at Manchester United, but feels he hasn't been given the right opportunities to showcase his true worth.
The Colombian endured a tumultuous season with the Red Devils, suffering from the wrath of unimpressed fans due to a poor conversion rate despite his reputation as a proven goalscorer.
The Blues gave the striker another chance this season, however, offering Falcao a season-long loan deal similar to that of United, and the 29-year-old is eager to get more playing time to regain consistency after the club's showing of faith.
"Chelsea are the team who bet on me, and I took that opportunity," he told Hola Colombia. "However, it has been complicated because the team hasn't started the season the best, nor have I been given the opportunities I want.
"But I'm very grateful, very happy. As for the future, I hope to have more opportunities to show what I can do in the second half of the season."
In and out of the squad due to injury, Falcao has featured just nine times for Chelsea, scoring only one goal.
