It was gathered that Anselm, the suspected killer of Paulinus had engaged the father in the company of his friends in a hot exchange of words over a yet-to-be established issue when as
Anselem allegedly hit the father with a heavy object which left him unconscious.
Paulinus was later confirmed dead at a nearby hospital.
The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, while confirming both incidents, urged members of the public to report to the Police if they sight the suspects who took to their heels after the dastardly act.
“Manhunt for the fleeing suspects have been intensified Just as the suspect’s elder brother, Sunday Ugwuoke, expressed grief and surprise over the death of their father occasioned by the younger brother” the Police Spokesperson revealed.
