Football - KANU and Okocha to honour Samuel Eto'o in Charity Match

Kanu Nwankwo and Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha will team up with the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar, Eric Abidal and Diego Maradona in a charity match to celebrate the 10th year anniversary of the Fundación Privada Samuel Eto’o in Turkey on July 16.

35-year-old Eto'o currently plays for Turkish side Antalyaspor and will host a charity game between World Stars and Turkey Stars at the Antalya Arena to raise money for his foundation.

The Cameroonian was in Nigeria in May to honour former Nigerian skipper Joseph Yobo who called time on his career with a testimonial match at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt.

The charity match will see Messi play alongside compatriot Diego Maradona and former teammate Xavi Hernandez while Fabio Capello is expected to be the manager on the day.
