A non-existent restaurant supposedly based in a garden shed briefly became London’s top eating place on travel and restaurant website TripAdvisor, who on Thursday hit back at the hoaxers.

Nigerian jailed 21 years for attempted murder of 90-year-old woman in London

A court in the UK  on Thursday jailed a Nigerian woman for 21 years over a failed attempt to kill a 90-year old widow and steal her £30,000.

Abosede Adeyinka, 52, who wore a lace disguise over her face when she committed the crime in April, was said to have convictions dating back to the 1990s for offences of assault, burglary and theft from an employer.

Fourth man arrested over London train bomb attack

Police on Monday arrested a 20-year-old man in Wales in connection with the London Underground train bombing this month, bringing the number of people in custody to four.
The man was arrested before dawn by counter-terrorism officers in the Welsh capital Cardiff and has been taken to a police station in London for questioning.

British police arrest 18-year-old in connection with London Tube attack

British police arrested an 18-year-old man in the southern port of Dover on Saturday in a “significant” development in the hunt for the people behind a London commuter train bombing that injured 30 people a day earlier.
Prime Minister Theresa May put Britain on the highest security level of “critical” late on Friday, meaning an attack may be imminent, and soldiers and armed police deployed to secure strategic sites and hunt down the perpetrators.
