Chad vs Nigeria conflict: Last not heard as Chad Issues Nigeria, April 22 Deadline to Occupy Territories Seized from Boko Haram, Nigerian Army kicks
[This Day] - Republic of Chad, a member of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) against the terrorist groups, Boko Haram and Islamic State’s West Africa Province (ISWAP), has issued Nigeria and Niger Republic an April 22 ultimatum to reoccupy territories Chadian troops seized from Boko Haram because it will withdraw its forces from those locations by that date.

Shake up in Nigerian Army as General leading Boko Haram war redeployed
Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, has approved the immediate redeployment of nine senior officers to new formations nationwide.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Sagir Musa, army spokesman, said the posting was a routine exercise to improve the system for greater efficiency.

COAS Buratai commissions office to curtail human rights violation by troops
Nigeria - The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Butatai yesterday commissioned human rights offices and residential quarters for soldiers in Borno State.
Buratai said while commissioning the projects at Maimalari Cantonment, the Headquarters of 7 Division of Nigeria Army in Maiduguri that the establishment of the human rights office would checkmate human rights violations by the troops and against troops.

And Igbo group ADF drags President Buhari and Buratai to court over Operation Python Dance in the SE
Nigeria - A team of Igbo leaders under the aegis of the Alaigbo Development Forum (ADF) has dragged President Muhammadu Buhari and the Chief of Army Staff to court over the on-going military operation in the South-East, code-named ‘Python Dance II.’
The suit filed at the Federal High Court, Enugu Thursday is asking the court to order the immediate withdrawal of the soldiers of the Nigerian Army in the South East of Nigeria on an operation for one month.

Nigeria - The Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen Tukur Yusuf Buratai has visited Troops in the frontline and gave directives for re-stratigize operations.
He also gave directives for onslaught against remnants of Boko haram terrorists after taking briefs from Commandants in Yobe state.
