Nigeria - Daily Post is reporting that the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai on Tuesday arrived Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, in line with the directive of the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo.
Buratai was the first to arrive in Maiduguri among the service chiefs.
Daily Post called the Army spokesperson, Brig Gen Sani Usman, to comment on Buratai’s trip.
He did not pick and is yet to respond to a text message sent to his mobile number
Recall that the Acting President last week ordered the service Chiefs to relocate to Maiduguri, following the fresh attacks by Boko Haram insurgents.
