Mouth watering N50,000 per day for the next 30 days' - FCT minister approves daily hazard fees for COVID-19 frontline health workers

Nigeria - FCT Minister has announced the approval of the daily hazard fees for COVID-19 frontline health workers in Abuja.



The FCT Minister revealed that doctors who care for Coronavirus patients will get a hazard fee of 50,000 per day. Nurses, lab scientists and pharmacists will get a hazard fee of 30,000 per day, and ward heads, cleaners and drivers who handle Coronavirus patients will get a hazard fee of 20,000 per day.
The announcement was made after doctors cried out that they are putting their lives on the line only to get 5,000 Naira hazard fees.

– Doctors: N50,000
– Nurses, Lab scientists, pharmacists: N30,000
– Ward heads, cleaners, drivers: N20,000
