Nigeria - Daily Post is reporting that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday arraigned three officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for allegedly taking bribes from ex-Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke to compromise the 2015 general elections.
According to the anti-graft agency, the accused persons, Christian Nwosu, Yisa Adedoyin and Tijani Bashir, allegedly collected the bribe from the former Minister on March 27, 2015.
They were arraigned on seven counts before the Federal High Court in Lagos.
Diezani, who is said to be at large was charged along with them.
