Nigeria - Former Special Assistant on New Media to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has denied that his former boss was responsible for the death of the late Director General of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Dora Akunyili.

In a series of tweets posted on his account on Tuesday, Omokri condemned the allegations which he claimed originated from Buharis’ Special Assistant of New Media, Lauretta Onochie.
He wrote: “What is this madness from@MBuhari’s camp that GEJ caused Dora Akinyuli’s death? See what you get for making a drunkard your spokeswoman?
“How does @NGRPresident expect the Akinyuli family to feel? Must they spit on the grave of a patriot because of their demonic propaganda?
“A spokeswoman for @MBuhari’s govt that killed 347 Shiite men, women, kids & infant is so desperate to label GEJ the killer of Dora Akinyuli!”
Akunyili passed on in an Indian hospital on June 7, 2014 after a battle with cancer.
