Nigeria - Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara said that President Muhammadu Buhari’s health has improved tremendously.
Dogara had alongside President of Senate Bukola Saraki visited the president at Abuja House in London yesterday.
The president had last week said although he would want to return home as he now feels better, he was waiting for instructions from his doctors.
In a tweet via his verified official Twitter handle @Yakubdogara, the Speaker said he was glad seeing that the president was doing well.
He also urged Nigerians to continue to pray and offer thanks for answered prayers for the safe return of the president.
“Today we visited President Muhammadu Buhari. I am glad that he is doing well.”
“His health has improved tremendously. I urge all Nigerians to continue to pray and offer thanks to God for answered prayers and for the safe return of Mr President,” according to a statement by Dogara’s spokesman Turaki Hassan last night.
Buhari has been in London since May 7, receiving treatment.
