
President Muhammadu Buhari returned to Nigeria today after spending over 100 days on medical vacation in the United Kingdom.
The president landed at the presidential wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at exactly 4:35pm.
He arrived in the company of his uncle, Mamman Daura; State House Chief of Protocols Lawal Kazaure, among others.
Buhari was received by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, his Chief of Staff Abba Kyari, some members of the Nigerian Governors Forum,
National Security Adviser Babagana Monguno, Defence Minister Mansur Dan Ali, Information Minister Lai Mohammed, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Mohammed Bello and service chiefs.
The governors who received the president included those of Zamfara, Rivers, Imo, Kano and Bauchi States.
Shortly after his arrival, President Buhari shook hands with government officials and later inspected a guard of honour mounted by officers and personnel of Brigade of Guards.
