Nigeria’s major security outfit, the Police is one of the most important organisation in the country.
The country would be taken over by criminals and everywhere would be unsafe.

The leadership of the police are also constantly making efforts to make the outfit world class. No wonder the police created the X-Squad to check the excesses of errant officers.

“The IGP Monitoring Unit, X-Squad and Force Provost Marshall of the Force have been motivated and directed to immediately embark on massive anti-corruption enforcement operations. Any police officer caught either through whistle-blowing framework or direct operations of the enforcement Units of the Force will be appropriately dealt with in line with established disciplinary procedure of the Force and may additionally be prosecuted in the swiftest fashion,” former IGP of police Solomon Arase once said.

However, there are some acts of that the police have been caught doing that cast a sad shadow on the outfit. If the top echelon of the force had a means to do it, they would have taken the pictures off the internet.
