Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has broken his silence since his father died last Friday, with an emotional tribute on his Instagram page.
Pogba thanked staff members at the American Hospital of Paris and the Christie Clinic in Manchester.
His father, Fassou Antoine, passed away at the age of 79 after being treated for a long-term illness.
The France international missed Sunday’s 2-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur and is also likely to miss their last Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace.
In the video posted by Pogba, the 24-year-old appears to be showing his father how to dab.
Pogba captioned it: “RIP Pap.️ Merci to L’Hôpital Américan de Paris and to the Christie Clinic in Manchester for all the care to my dad. Allez Papa, c’est nous la Pogbance!!”
The player is expected to be ready for the Europa League final against Ajax next Wednesday.
