Well-wisher delivers flowers, card to President Buhari in London (photo)

Nigeria - There are indications one of President Muhammadu Buhari's well-wisher on Wednesday, May 17, sent him some flowers and what appeared to be a get-well-soon card.

The well-wisher delivered a bouquet of flowers at the official residence of the Nigerian High Commissioner to the Court of St James in Abuja House before noon, on Wednesday, May 17.

The courier lady who made the delivery told the security officer who responded to the buzzer that she had flowers to deliver to the president. The well-wisher delivered some flowers and cards to President Buhari

She said: "I have a delivery of flowers." Within a few seconds after her announcement, Guardian reports that the lady went back to her van and handed the flowers to the official.

It is understood that the package was specifically addressed to, "President Muhamamdu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria".

Also, at about 10.50 am, two family members of the president came out of the house in London and were immediately driven away by an already waiting cab.

One of the family members who appeared to be about the age of 25 was said to have received two letters including a Royal Mail special delivery addressed to President Buhari from a postman.

The package was specifically addressed, "President Muhamamdu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria".

Although the young man declined comments on the president's health, a young woman suspected to be the daughter of President Buhari and his wife Aisha said the president was doing well.

Subsequently, at about 1 pm, an official of the Nigerian High Commission said the president was doing good.
