Candidate of the All Progressives Congress ( APC), Mr Rotimi Akeredolu has been declared winner of the Ondo State Governorship election held on Saturday by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Akeredolu according to the result announced by the Chief Returning Officer, Prof. A. Ambali, won the election with 244,842 votes to defeat his closest rival, Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) who polled 150,380votes.
Chief Olusola Oke of the Alliance for Democracy, ( AD) had 126,889 votes.
