Zlatan Ibrahimovic says he regrets not working with Jose Mourinho more during his career, with the pair reunited at Manchester United after a brief spell together at Inter.
The striker and manager spent just one season at San Siro before Ibrahimovic moved on for an ill-fated spell with Barcelona, and Mourinho went on to win the treble 12 months later.
Ahead of the derby against Manchester City, where Ibrahimovic will go face to face with former Barca head coach Pep Guardiola, the 34-year-old was full of praise for his United manager.
"Mourinho is a mastermind. He knows everything about the game," the striker said.
"I do not have many regrets, but I do regret that I did not get to play under Mourinho for longer. When the opportunity came again for him to be my coach at United it was an easy decision.
"Who wouldn't want to be coached by him? I am at a great club with a great coach and great fans and I want to be as successful as possible for them."
