A passenger train has collided with a freight train in eastern Belgium, killing three people and injuring 40 others.
Belgian officials said the train was carrying around 40 passengers when it crashed near the city of Liege.
The collision derailed two of the train's six carriages.
Emergency services and reinforcements remain at the site of the crash.
Belgian railways SNCB said in a statement the collision occurred around 11pm on Sunday local time.
