Manchester United midfielder, Marouane Fellaini has revealed that he has already been in touch with new Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.
The midfielder has been one of several players linked with a summer move away from Old Trafford following the Portuguese's arrival as Louis van Gaal's replacement in May.
But Fellaini has since divulged that he and Mourinho have got off to a good start after receiving a text from the ex-Chelsea boss wishing him luck ahead of Belgium’s Euro 2016 campaign.
“Mourinho contacted me by SMS to say welcome to United and to wish me a good Euro,” said the 28-year-old.
Fellaini, who joined United from Everton in 2013, insists he has no plans to leave United and hopes to impress at the Euros to prove to Mourinho he can trust him next season.
“As far as my future is concerned, I'm under contract with Manchester United,” he said.
“In addition, a great manager, Jose Mourinho, is arriving.
“He likes to win titles and I would be honoured and proud to work with him. Now it's up to me to show he can trust me.”
