NIGERIA - POLICE ARREST 19 APPLICANTS FOR SUBMITTING FAKE RESULTS

The Police in Adamawa said 19 persons seeking enlistment into the force in the ongoing nationwide recruitment had been arrested for being in possession of fake results.

The command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Othman Abubakar, made this known to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Yola.
Abubakar said that the suspects had been charged to court.
“We have arrested 19 of them for result falsification and they have been charged to court,” he said.
He warned persons trying to use a fake result to join the force to have a rethink, saying that it was no longer business as usual.
“The police are not a dumping ground and anyone who tries to play smart will face the music,” Abubakar said.
