Two people are in a critical condition after a car in a rally they were watching veered out of control and smashed into spectators.
A total of six people, including the driver, were injured in the crash which happened on the Spanish island of Mallorca, according to El Mundo.
The vehicle was taking part in the Rallysprint Aficio de Calvia on Saturday when it failed to round a hairpin bend and hit some of those watching, sideways, just before 1pm.
Sources told the newspaper that a safety officer had earlier told spectators not to stand on the corner where the crash occurred, but they had returned to the spot once he had left.
Diario de Mallorca reported that an 18-year-old man remains in intensive care in Palma's Son Espases hospital with injuries to his spinal cord.
A 39-year-old man, who suffered a broken tibia and fibula, is being treated at an ICU unit in the Juaneda Clinic, also in Palma.
A 60-year-old man who had to undergo a foot amputation is stable after being treated in Son Espases and a fourth person is recovering from severe chest injuries in the Rotger Clinic.
El Mundo reported that the driver suffered widespread bruising, while a sixth person had sustained leg and head injuries.
The rally organisers said on their Twitter account they wished "those injured a speedy recovery".
