A Northern Ireland football fan in his sixties has collapsed and died at the European Championships in Lyon.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said it happened during the game against Ukraine, which Northern Ireland won 2-0.
The man collapsed in the upper part of the Stade de Lyon and was treated by paramedics, but they were unable to revive him.
Superintendent Nigel Goddard said: "Our thoughts are tragically with a second family this week mourning the devastating loss of their loved one.
"We understand the man in his sixties collapsed during the game and was attended to by emergency services.
"It is extremely sad that this is the second death of a Northern Ireland fan in France during the Euro 2016 games."
On Monday Darren Rodgers, 24, from Ballymena, died after falling eight metres off a promenade in Nice.
Fans paid tribute to him by applauding in the 24th minute of the Ukraine match.
Mr Goddard said the PSNI had been working with French authorities and local officers have been in touch with the older man's family in Belfast.
Flags, shirts and scarves were left at the ground in his honour.
Olympique Lyonnais' ground was packed with Northern Ireland supporters who have travelled to France in huge numbers for he team's first major tournament in 30 years.
The 2-0 win over Ukraine, thanks to goals from Gareth McAuley and Niall McGinn, was their first ever in the Euro finals and means they could now reach the knockout stages.
Having lost their opening Group C match against Poland, a win was vital.
