You will recall vividly that The Forefront reported December last year about Jimmy Carter's Sunday School testimony of his state of health as regards his battle with cancer.
Jimmy Carter has now revealed he no longer needs treatment for cancer, less than seven months after revealing his melanoma diagnosis.
The 91-year-old former US President shared the news at one of his Sunday School classes at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains, Georgia.
In a video posted by WXIA-TV, he told the group he had got the all-clear after a two-hour MRI scan.
He said: "And then the doctors determined that I didn't need any more treatment.
"So I'm not going to have any more treatment."
Spokeswoman Deanna Congileo said that doctors will continue to perform scans to ensure that cancer cells have not returned and President Carter will "resume treatment if necessary".
His treatment plan for the aggressive cancer including a round of targeted radiation at several tumours on his brain and doses of an immune-boosting drug.
Jill Stuckey, a member of the church, said Mr Carter's updates have become a "pattern for our church".
She said: "President Carter comes in, tells us phenomenal news and we all applaud. We're all on pins and needles wondering how things are going, because you never know from looking at somebody."
Mr Carter has remained active during his treatment, including working at the Carter Center - the human rights organisation he founded after leaving the White House.
