Nigeria - In less than one week, another member of the House of Representatives elected under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
He was a member of the Ali Modu Sheriff faction before the Supreme Court recognised the then Senator Ahmed Makarfi faction as the authentic leadership of the party.
The latest defector claimed that, “The PDP has shut the door against me.”
Philip Shaibu, Edo State Deputy Governor, witnessed the defection.
