Two people have died after a stabbing attack at a block of flats in Wolverhampton.
Officers used stun grenades as they stormed the flat on Wednesday morning after reports a man had attacked two women before inflicting stab wounds on himself.
A woman thought to be in her 30s died at the scene in Leasowes Drive, in the Merry Hill area of the city, while the male suspect, also in his 30s, was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
Another woman, believed to be in her 50s, has been taken to hospital in a critical condition with stomach injuries and a police officer has been treated for minor injuries.
Images from the scene showed three air ambulances landed on a nearby playing field and armed officers outside the block of flats.
