
Nigeria - Acting president, Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday, February 8, presided over the Federal Executive Council meeting in the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Osinbajo became the acting president after President Buhari left Abuja on Thursday, January 19, on a medical visit to the United Kingdom where he is expected to seek medical attention within the period of his 10-days annual leave.

The meeting was held inside the council chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja with Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir David Lawal, minister of transportation Rotimi Amaechi, minister of information Lai Mohammed and other cabinet members in attendance.
