Nigeria - The insurgents seem to be reinvigorated lately with series of attacks especially in the last seven days.
A five year-old boy in Kaumutayahi, a village east of Chibok, Borno state, has been kidnapped by Boko Haram insurgents.
The director of media, Kibaku area development association(KADA), Dr Manesah Allen, told the Leadership that the boy was forcefully taken away from his grandmother who he was with at the time of the attack on Friday, February 10.

Dr Manesah Allen said the sect also killed a young man in the village called, Mauntah.
“I just spoke with the rescue team that visited the village, the Boko Haram sect forcefully took away a five year old boy from his grand ma, and killed one young man by name Mauntah,” he said.
The spokesperson for the KADA noted that military detachment close to Kaumutayahi are not many in number and those in Bwaftari and Kautikari villages are also near the sect’s crossing points.
He said the people have asked for more security forces as villages have started to resettle.
