A bomb explosion at a tourist resort in Thailand has killed at least one person and wounded 12 others, according to local media.
There are reports of two suspected bombs exploding during the evening, possibly triggered by mobile phones.
They are said to have been placed in plant pots 50 metres apart.
Unconfirmed reports say both Thai and foreign tourists were among the victims.
A journalist in Thailand quotes "This twin bombing, if it turns out to be that, may be linked to an insurgency in the south of Thailand.
"But if it is, it's very unusual for that insurgency to target tourist areas."
Hua Hin is famous as a regular retreat of the Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej, and it is a popular destination for Thai and foreign holidaymakers.
