At Least 10 Hurt As Blast Rips Through Home In Manchester

At least 10 people have been injured after an explosion at a house in Greater Manchester.
Three people have suffered "quite severe burns and lacerations" in the blast, which caused the terraced house in Ashton-under-Lyne to collapse at the front and back.

The incident, which happened around 5am on Tuesday, left at least seven others with minor injuries.
Six fire engines were sent to the property on Curzon Street, which has since been closed.
Incident commander at the scene, Alan Ashworth, said he was "concerned" for the three casualties with more serious wounds.
He said: "We are now aware that there are at least 10 casualties. Some are suffering with burns and lacerations.
"We don't have full details of the casualties, but we now know three people were inside the property at the time of
the explosion."
A fire investigation team is working with the police to establish the cause of the explosion, Mr Ashworth added.
A woman called Leanne, who said she was the daughter of the man and woman who lived at the house, told reporters that two people had jumped out of  a window, and one from a roof, to escape the blaze.
She said they were "stable", adding that her parents had "lost everything" in the explosion.
Gas and electricity supplies were turned off at the house and four neighbouring properties.
A spokeswoman for North West Ambulance Service said they had sent a "large resource team" to the scene.
Whiteacre Road and Clinton Street have also been closed and people are asked to avoid the area if possible.
