FOOTBALL - ZLATAN IBRAMOVIC CLOSE TO SIGNING FOR MAN UTD

Manchester United are to sign Swedish international Zlatan Ibrahimovic before the start of Euro 2016, the Forefront understands.
United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and the striker's representatives are believed to be finalising terms on a one-year contract.

With Ibrahimovic on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain, the deal is expected to be completed before Sweden's first Group E match against Belgium on 22 June.
If the move goes ahead, the 34-year-old will become new United manager Jose Mourinho's first major signing.
Ibrahimovic, one of Europe's top strikers, had apparently received more lucrative offers from Chinese Super League clubs and options in Italy.
But he opted for a reunion with Mourinho, with whom he won Serie A at Inter Milan.
During a stellar career, Ibrahimovic, who is 6ft 5ins tall, has also played for Inter Milan, Juventus, Ajax and Barcelona.
There were reports he was planning to return to Swedish giants Malmo FF, with whom he started out, but he has evidently changed his mind.
After joining Paris Saint-Germain in July 2012, he won four consecutive Ligue 1 titles, three Coupes de la Ligue, one Coupe de France and was the top scorer in Ligue 1 for three seasons.
In December 2013, Ibrahimovic was ranked by The Guardian as the third-best player in the world behind Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The following year, the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter named him the second-greatest Swedish sports person of all time, after tennis player Bjorn Borg.
On the field he is famed for his acrobatic finishing and off it for his abundant self-confidence and outspoken comments.
When Sweden failed to qualify for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, he remarked: "One thing is for sure, without me a World Cup is nothing to watch."
