US {WISCONSIN} - GUNMAN OPENS FIRE ON STUDENTS LEAVING PROM

At least three people have been wounded after someone armed with a rifle shot at students at a high school prom in Wisconsin
The unidentified individual attacked as people were leaving Antigo High School on Saturday night, police said.

"Officers were in the parking lot patrolling the activities and heard the shots," Antigo Police Chief Eric Roller said.
"An officer immediately fired upon the shooter, stopping the threat."
Aspirus Langlade hospital officials said three people had been treated after the shooting.
Two were moved to another hospital and the third was discharged on Sunday.
It was not confirmed whether one of the injured was the shooter, although police have said he has been arrested.
"At this point, we feel that we have the subject in custody that was a threat. The community is safe at this point," Chief Roller said.
The school was placed into lockdown for a short time but students were later allowed to go home.
Police have not said if the gunman was a student at the school or if he had any connection to the victims.
