FOOTBALL NEWS: ARSENAL YOUNGSTER IWOBI HOSPITALIZED IN ABUJA NIGERIA AFTER FOOD POISONING

Rising Arsenal star Alex Iwobi is currently recuperating in an Abuja hospital after suffering a bout of food poisoning upon linking up with the Super Eagles training camp in Abuja.
Iwobi felt ill after eating salad with the rest of the Nigeria team. His father has since visited him in hospital according to MTNfootball.
The news was confirmed by Nigeria head coach Samson Siasia. ‘He suffered from food positioning and so was not part of training. His condition is stable.’ he said.

Iwobi was in line to start Nigeria’s African Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt on Friday night but that now looks unlikely.

Wishing him safe recovery!!!
