France Ambassador to Nigeria, Denys Gauer told the Guardian, that his home country would not in anyway work with any group agitating for the division of the nation.

Two suspected female suicide bombers were shot dead by security agents in Maiduguri on Saturday.

A statement by the spokesman of Police Command in Borno disclosed that the bombers were shot when they attempted to enter Maiduguri through the Umarari in Molai, near Damboa road.

Nigeria - The Ogun state Police Command has said it has arrested a medical doctor, Emmanuel Ogah, who allegedly stabbed his biological mother to death for ‘insulting’ and ‘disgracing’ him in the presence of her apprentices.

According to a statement issued by the Force Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the arrest was sequel to a complaint by the elder brother of the suspect, Cletus Ogah, who reported that his younger brother had stabbed their 62 year-old mother, one Janet Ogah, to death, Daily Post reports.
