NFF waiting for FIFA grant to pay Super Falcons’ outstanding allowances

32 children killed in Indonesia stadium stampede – Official


At least 32 children died in the Indonesia stadium stampede that killed 125 people, an official at the women’s empowerment and child protection ministry told AFP Monday, October 3.


“From the latest data we received, out of 125 people who died in the accident, 32 of them were children, with the youngest being a toddler age three or four,” said Nahar, who like many Indonesians only goes by one name.

US courts fault Qatar hosting rights of the 2022 World Cup

US prosecutors concluded that officials of world football’s governing body were bribed before voting in favour of awarding Qatar and Russia the right to host the FIFA World Cup in 2022 and 2018 respectively.


The conclusion was reached after a lengthy investigation.
