U.S. President Donald Trump has instructed his administration to stop funding the WHO.
Trump declared that the body “failed in its basic duty” in its response to the pandemic and was hiding the truth about what happened in Wuhan.
And as China announced a new death toll on Friday, Trump tweeted, “It is far higher than that and far higher than the US, not even close!” Trump tweeted.
As of April 19, the disease has affected more than 2.3 million people and killed 165,000.
