[LIB] - Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa has reacted to report of a Lebanese man allegedly putting up a Nigerian lady for sale in Lebanon.
It was reported HERE that the Lebanese man, Wael Jerro placed a $1,000 price tag on the Nigerian lady identified Busari Peace Ufuoma in a closed group on Facebook 'Buy and Sell in Lebanon'.
Reacting to the outcry that ensued, Dabiri-Erewa disclosed that the Nigerian mission in Lebanon has since reported to the host authorities. A manhunt has also been launched to ensure that the Nigerian lady is rescued.
She tweeted;
Update on this . The Nigerian mission in Lebanon has since reported to the host authorities. A man hunt is on for the man and all out search for the young girl..Let’s keep her in our prayers
