83-year-old woman dies of COVID-19 in Lagos

Nigeria - An 83-year-old woman has died of complications from COVID19 in Lagos.





This was disclosed by the state Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi, via his Twitter handle this afternoon.
''Lagos recorded 1 death, bringing total number of #COVID19 related deaths in Lagos to 14. The deceased is a female, aged 83 with underlying health issues.

Let’s observe #SocialDistancing and #StayHome to stop the transmission of #COVID19 infection'' he wrote

Lagos state remains the epicenter of the COVID19 pandemic in Nigeria, with 309 confirmed cases, 109 discharged patients and 14 deaths.
