Many injured as violence reportedly erupts in Jos between Hausas and Igbos

Nigeria - Information from Jos says that there is an ongoing ethnic clash between Hausa and Igbos in Jos, the Plateau State capital.

According to residents in the area, several people have been injured along Rwang Pam Street and Ahmadu Bello Way, areas that are said to be dominated by Igbos.

Police and other security officials have, however, arrived to calm the situation
A local residence spoke with Daily Post on phone and  revealed thus;
“I barely escaped with my life as we speak. I don’t event know where my parents are.
“Many Igbos boys have been injured. Tell the police to come to our aid."
