British professional boxer and former unified welter weight boxing champion, Amir Khan has apologised to British Nigerian heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua for false accusation.
Last week, Khan accused announced publicly that he was divorcing his wife because she was having an affair with Anthony Joshua.

The heavyweight champion had dismissed the accusation, saying Faryal Makhdoom, Khan’s wife does not even have what he desires in a woman.
Khan apologised on Friday via twitter after his wife broken her silence over their split to reveal that messages supposedly sent between her and Anthony Joshua were fake.
Amir retweeted his wife’s note, then personally messaged Joshua, adding: ‘Glad all is cleared up and all lies. I got angry like any man would. No truth to it. Good to know. All the best.’
Anthony Joshua was quick to respond like in the first case. “Apology accepted,” he tweeted.
The Sun UK reported that the apology came after Anthony Joshua’s legal team contacted Khan and threatened to sue him for defamation.
