PHOTOS: Gosh! Ghanaian footballer arrested for killing mother, sister in Italy

Ghanaian-born Italy footballer,Solomon Nyantakyi  has confessed to killing his mother and 11-year old sister at their apartment near Parma station in Italy.
21-year-old Solomon and his family members all lived on the last floor of a building in the multi-ethnic district of San Leonardo in Italy.

The Ghanaian footballer who was born in Accra moved to Italy when he was eight years old having lived with his family for the past 13 years.
The suspect’s elder brother Raymond Nyantakyi, 25, returned home from work around 9pm on Tuesday to discoverthe gruesome murder of Patience Nfum, 45, and little sister Magdalene Nyantakyi, who are both Ghanaians living in Italy.
The Police arrested Solomon Nyantakyi when he tried to escape after murdering his mother and sister.
It was said that the family’s apartment had so much blood that the police could not handle their investigations without polluting the crime scene.
The Ghanaian player  was suspected after Investigations of the Mobile Team in Parma, led by Paola Dal Monte and  found out the 21-year-old could not be reached on his cell phone since the alleged time of the crime.
Nyantakyi confessed to the killings after his arrest faces trial in Italy.
Solomon was touted as one of the rising stars in Italian football as he flourished in the youth system of Parma winning several titles with them.
He was promoted to the Parma senior team by Roberto Donadoni before the club went into administration as a result of which the young player’s career took a nose dive.
