Manchester United’s new striker, Romelu Lukaku, will not be punished by club officials, for giving interviews before his move to Old Trafford was completed.
Lukaku spoke to media outlets in Los Angeles, before the club unveiled him as their new £75 million signing from Everton.
The Manchester Evening News reports that the 24-year-old did this, before United’s planned announcement, which included a photo shoot and exclusive interview with in-house station, MUTV.
However, Lukaku, who was on holiday in LA with new team-mate Paul Pogba, spoke to two news outlets while the move was still to be finalised.
He will however not be disciplined by United officials or manager Jose Mourinho, as the club feels he was led by his own representatives.
