Nemesis as four in police net over fake academic certificates, currency production

Nigeria - Sokoto Police Command Sokoto police command has arrested an ex-student of Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic Sokoto one Dauda Julde for alleged production of fake certificates and identity cards.
It also apprehended three suspected fake currency producers.
Police Public Relations Officer,Sokoto Command,Supol Ibrahim Abaras who confirmed this, said Duada Julde of Wamakko local government area ,was apprehended with some gadgets used to print the forged certificates .
Abaras said the arrest of the suspect   followed complaints over circulation of fake academic certificates.
He said the 29-year-old suspect who allegedly charges N5,000 to provide a forged certificate, had spent two years in the illegitimate business.
On the suspected fake currency producers, he gave their names as Mohammed Umar of Kofar Taramiya ,Saidu Abubakar and Yunusa Ibrahim both of Nakasari area.
He said they were in possession of dangerous weapons such as swords, knife and charms as well as some papers cut in naira note size level with genuine one thousand-naira notes in five bundles.
The PPRO said after thorough investigation, the suspects would be charged to court for intent to deceive, fraudulent act and illegal possession of weapons.
