Nigeria - The Acting president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo presided over the Federal Executive Council meeting in the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari.
With the president on a 10-day vacation in the UK, the acting president took over the weekly meeting on Wednesday, February 1.
Also at the meeting was Babachir Lawal, the secretary to the government of the federation who was accused of corrupt practices although he was later cleared by the presidency with him still embattled with the senate however.
